SAFR Sports is a company dedicated to advancing athlete safety, particularly through the development of its Helmet Covers, designed to reduce the risk of traumatic brain injuries and concussions in football. Perry Mandera first became aware of SAFR Sports’ innovative product when his sons played varsity football for Loyola Academy in Chicago.

Reflecting on his introduction to the company, Mr. Mandera shared, “The football staff had the forethought to place the caps on the helmets as a preventative and additional protective measure against head contact. I was so impressed with the material used and the detailed fit for each helmet size and model, I began to review other products in that space and realized SAFR Sports had the superior product. Their research and commitment to the health and safety of every age group involved in football led me to believe even further and ultimately invest in the company.”

Mr. Mandera is enthusiastic about his new role with SAFR Sports, stating, “I am excited regarding my new role with SAFR and hope to be able to bring my experience as a business owner and father to assist further protecting athletes of all ages against mild traumatic brain injury and multiple sub concussive impacts.”
