Super Bowl Winner Billy Ard Joins SAFR Sports

SAFR Sports, a safety innovation company, is proud to welcome Billy Ard as SAFR’s new Business Development Manager. Ard played offensive guard in the NFL for the New York Giants and Green Bay Packers, and he was a member of the Giants’ 1987 Super Bowl championship team. Since retiring from football in 1991, Ard has been a financial advisor, and he will be involved in developing and maintaining SAFR client relationships and partnerships with organizations that are committed to sports safety.

“Billy brings a wealth of knowledge and contacts to SAFR, and we are thrilled to add him to our line-up,” said SAFR Co-Founder John Zeglinski. “His experience goes well beyond the football field – Billy’s business acumen and creativity will impact every aspect of our company.”

Both Zeglinski and Ard were teammates at Wake Forest University. “I’m excited to be a part of the SAFR team – their mission to making the great sport of football safer, safer through science, is right up my alley,” said Ard. “SAFR’s potential to protect players at all levels, from Pop Warner all the way up to the NFL, is unlimited, and I’m committed to helping make that potential a reality.”
